Joyce Lawerence Obituary
Schroon Lake; Joyce M. Lawrence, 80, passed away Sunday December 21, 2014 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Joyce was born July 31, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Boes Schmitt.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Edgar A. Lawrence Jan. 4, 2012.
Joyce was employed as a coordinator for the Girl Scouts of America in New City, NY
Joyce is survived by her daughters Pamela (Samuel) Scavera and Christine (Richard) Raffo, her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was a wonderful mother, nana, GGma and friend and will be deeply missed.
A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM Saturday December 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Schroon Lake. Interment will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Monday December 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM.
Family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 9:00 AM.
The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to the Schroon Lake Emergency Squad, Schroon Lake, NY 12780.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edward, L. Kelly Funeral Home.
