Marie L. Tefoe

Newcomb, NY, Marie L. Tefoe, 83, passed away Monday July 24, 2017 at her home. Marie was born October 22, 1933 in Petersburgh, NY the daughter of the late James and Lena Church Brayman. She was also predeceased by Her Husband of 41 years, Daniel F. Tefoe, her sisters, Clara Spraga, Loretta Tefoe and Marilyn Hewitt, her brothers, Leon, Lawrence, Richard, Ronald and James Brayman.
Marie was a home maker who loved her family, sewing, flowers, gardening and watching wildlife. She was a communicant of St. Therese Catholic Church in Newcomb.
Survivors include her son Wayne (Sue) Tefoe of Watervliet, NY, her daughters, Venus Webb, and her companion Rick Molongski of Queensbury, Theresa (Bill) Laforest of Tupper Lake, Rosemary Stockwell of Newcomb, her step son Daniel (Bonnie) Tefoe of Alabama, her brother LeRoy Brayman of Albany, her grandchildren, Jack, Joseph and Justin Webb, Heather, Wayne, Daniel, Rose Kate and Abrigail Tefoe, Skye and Morgan Stockwell,Jayson Staves and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be offered Friday Afternoon July 28 at 1:00 PM at St. Therese Catholic Church in Newcomb, interment will follow in St. Therese Cemetery, Newcomb.
Friends may call at the church in Newcomb Friday from 12 noon until the mass at 1:00 PM.
The family requests memorials take the form of donations to St. Therese Church, St. Jude Tribute Program, The C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital or the Newcomb Rescue Squad.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, Schroon Lake, NY.
