Rhonda Jacqueline Barnes

Schroon Lake, NY Rhonda was born December 14th, 1967 in Newburg, N.Y. to Johanna Mastantuono and William DeGraw. She graduated from Minerva Central School in 1985, and was very active in many sports and band. She also attended North County Community College. She was a payroll administrator, and worked in the spa at the Sagamore Resort. She was also a drummer and vocalist for the Rockology. Rhonda was loved by many people in the town of Schroon Lake and much of the surrounding areas because of the many achievements of her life through the ARC, her work at the Sagamore, and the music she played with many different artists including the Keystone Band, Street Talk, and Rockology amongst others. She was the center of her family which includes her daughter Megan J. McCallum, Megan's twin brothers Devin and Dustin Scott, her mother Johanna Fish, her brother Matthew Plumley, his wife Kandi, nephews Theigen and Tienzen, her boyfried of many years Tony Lang, his mother and brother Karen and Jed Lang and Tony's niece Alysha, best friends Wendy Smith and Tonya Allen along with their families, step father and grandmother Jon and Helen Fish, Aunt and Uncle Nancy and Daniel Mastantuono and countless others that could fill the pages. Rhondas fight with cancer began in July of 2014 and ended March 21st 2015. She left us knowing what love we all had for her and her family. There will be a funeral service for Rhonda at Kelly's Funeral Home Friday March 27th. Calling hours will be held from 4-6 pm with a small service at 6 pm. Following the service will be a celebration of her life held at the Schroon Lake Fish and Game Club. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Megan McMcallum College fund or the Charles R. Wood Cancer Center in memory of Rhonda.
