Elsie Swinton Obituary
Crown Point, NY Elsie Swinton 83, passed away January 30, 2018 at the Heritage Commons Residential Health Care facility in Ticonderoga, NY.
Elsie was born February 18, 1934 in Bridport Vt. the daughter of the late Paul and Gwendolyn Smith Goyette.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband Gerald Swinton, her daughters Sally Mae Kennedy and Belle Armstrong, her son David Swinton and her great granddaughter Vechi as well as several brothers and sisters.
Elsie was a chef and worked in several restaurants in the area, she was most recently the chef at Elk Lake Lodge in North Hudson, NY when she retired.
Elsie enjoyed taking care of her garden, flowers and bird watching from her home. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially at Christmas time, her favorite holiday.
Elsie is survived by her daughter Bonnie Hughes of Brant Lake, her sons Timothy and Randy of Schroon Lake and her sister Veda Ash, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Per Elsie's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
