Florence E. Howe

Schroon Lake; Florence E. Howe, 68 passed away December 30, 2014 at Albany Medical Center Hospital from complications related to Leukemia, with her husband and children by her side.
Florence was born October 13, 1946 in North Hudson, NY, the daughter of the late Paul and Athoramae Sprague Sr.
Her son "Baby" Howe, her brother Henry Sprague and her baby sister also predeceased her.
Florence graduated from Schroon Lake Central School in 1964 and on December 18, 1965 she married her soulmate, Ronnie Howe Sr. Throughout their 49 years of marriage they lived in Schroon Lake and Olmstedville.
Florence is survived by her husband Ronnie; her daughters Ronna (Ralph) Terry, Hope (Pryce) Hohenstein, Kendra Howe and her fiance David Merrill; her sons Ronnie Howe Jr., Joshua (Christina) Howe, Travis (Bridgette) Howe and Trevor Howe, her sister Margaret (Spencer) Graves, her brothers John (Delberta) Sprague, Paul (Charmaine) Sprague Jr., Samuel Sprague and Barney (Sharon) Sprague, and grandchildren Dustin and Amanda Terry, Pierce, Padraic and Peyton Hohenstein, Chloe Howe and Nevaeh, Cayson and Ily Howe.
Florence was passionate about genealogy and family. Throughout her life, she did everything for everyone else while expecting nothing in return. She loved her husband, all of her children and grandchildren, unconditionally. Even during the toughest of times, her devotion to her work as a mother, grandmother and wife never wavered.
A private graveside service for family members only will be held Friday January 2, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Severance Cemetery in Schroon Lake.
