Newcomb, NY Lawrence M. Levesque 91 passed away Thursday November 16, 2017 at the Glens Falls Hospital after an extended illness.
Lawrence was born October 14, 1926 in Fort Kent Me. the son of the late MaGloire and Marceline Deprey Levesque.
Lawrence was predeceased by his wife Cecile and three of his brothers.
Lawrence was a Veteran of WWII, where he served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army until his honorable discharge in 1947.
Lawrence had resided in Newcomb with his family since 1956; he was employed for over 30 years in the logging industry and worked for 30 years as a heavy equipment operator for Bureau Brothers Logging. Prior to moving to Newcomb Lawrence moved brownstone houses in New York City and was a meat cutter.
Lawrence loved to fish and hunt wife his wife Cecile.
Survivors include His son Robert Levesque of Newcomb, his daughter Judy (Glen) Koster of Arizona, his grandchildren, Bobbie Jo and Travis Levesque and Joshua and Joseph Koster and his brother Gilbert Levesque of Maine..
At the family's request there will be no calling hours and a graveside service will be announced at a later date.
