Newcomb, NY; Patricia A. Poulton, 79, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Adirondack Tri County Health Care Center in North Creek, NY after a long illness.
Patricia was born January 22, 1938 in North Hudson, NY the daughter of the late Norman G. and Ella Welch Moses.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry L. Poulton, her brothers Michael and Peter Moses and her granddaughter Ashley.
She was a custodian at the Newcomb Central School for 28 years, retiring in 1995.
She was a former member of the Newcomb Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and she was a parishioner of St. Therese's Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and walking in her area. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed their company.
Survivors include her daughter Barbara Fisher and her companion (George) of Littleton, NH, her sons Edward (Deborah) Poulton of Rotterdam, Craig (Kathy) Poulton of Newcomb, Wayne (Jackie) Poulton, Paul (Shannon) Poulton, and Kevin (Jennifer) Poulton, all of Littleton, NH and Gary Poulton of Daytona Fl., her sister Sally Rockwood , her brother Mitchell Moses of Newcomb, her brother David Moses of Whitehall., 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese' Catholic Church Interment will follow in St. Therese' Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until the mass.
The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave. 7th Fl., New York, NY 10001.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home Schroon Lake.
