Raymond DeLor JR. Obituary
Gansevoort, Raymond A. DeLor Jr. 76, passed away Nov. 6, 2018 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Raymond was born Jan. 1, 1942 in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of the late Raymond A. and Emma Young DeLor Sr.
Raymond was predeceased by His wife of 40 years, Nancy A. DeLor Nov. 15, 2003.
Raymond graduated from Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park and later owned a TV and appliance store in Hyde Park for many years. He drove a school bus for the Hyde Park School District.
He and Nancy moved to North Hudson in 1985 and he drove school bus in Schroon Lake, was a hardware salesperson and most recently was employed in the appliance Dept. at Lowe’s Queensbury.
Ray is survived by his three sons Mathew (Gina M.) DeLor of Gansevoort, Mark R. (Mary Ellen) DeLor of Queensbury and Michael DeLor of Edinburg,TX. ,His grandchildren, Lauren A., Trent A., Jeremy L., and Abigail R.. His Brothers, Daniel E.of Ozark, AK and David W. of Hudson Falls, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday afternoon Nov. 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt. 9, Schroon Lake, NY, interment will follow in The Schroon River Cemetery, North Hudson.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 12:30 until 1:00 PM
