Sharon Snay Obituary
Clifton Park; Sharon A. (Gochie) Snay 64, passed away Saturday December 20, 2014 at her home.
Sharon was born September 16, 1950 in Ticonderoga, NY, the daughter of the late Fred and Velma (Rock) Gochie. She was also predeceased by baby Snay.
Sharon was a graduate of Schroon Lake Central School, She married the love of her life Dennis P. Snay on August 4, 1978.
Sharon was employed at Shenendehowa School District for 20 years in the Food Service Department.
Sharon loved her Boston Red Socks, NY Rangers and KC Chiefs. She also enjoyed hiking, kayaking and sitting at the beach in the Adirondacks.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 36 years Dennis, her son Jeffrey Michael Snay of Flushings, her sister Lori (Dean) Burdick of Clifton Park and her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Marie Conners and the school staff at Arcadia, And also to the Saratoga County Hospice.
Family and friends may call at the Gordon D. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park on Monday December 22, 2014 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM and at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 Rt. 9 Schroon Lake on Tuesday December 23, 2014 from 12 noon until 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at the Schroon Lake Community Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to the Schroon Lake, Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
