Jerrilyn Anslow Obituary
Jerrilynn Jane AnslowHudson Falls; Jerrilynn Jane Anslow 71, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at her home after a long hard battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 30, 1942, in Blue Ridge, NY, the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Moses Anslow.
Jerry graduated from Schroon Lake Central School in 1960, and from Fulton-Montgomery Community College in 1970 with and RN degree. Jerry spent more than 30 years in nursing, and then worked for Prudential Insurance.
She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Anslow Sr.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her nephew Donald (Cindy) Anslow Jr. and their three daughters; her uncle John (Val) Moses of Texas; and her aunt Alice (Irwin) Stowell of Glens Falls. There are several cousins and good friends to remember her, including the group of ladies who helped her cousin, Betsy Allen, care for Jerry over the last few weeks of her life.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, 1019 US Rt. 9, Schroon Lake.
Interment in the lot with her mother and father will take place in the spring in the North Hudson Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday before the funeral service.
Memorials may take the form of donations to Tri Lakes Hospice or Estherville Animal Shelter, 100 Russell Road, Greenfield Center, NY.
