Allan Mitchell Obituary
North Creek: Allan Wade Mitchell 82 passed away suddenly while at Glens falls Hospital, January 4, 2024.
He was predeceased by his father Herbert J. Mitchell, his mother Katherine Albertus (Gibbs) Mitchell, his brother Charles Mitchell and his wife Kathy, niece Judy and his sisters Janet Harvy and her husband Jason Harvy, and Carol Mitchell.
He is survived by his son Michael Mitchell and his fiancé Faith, his daughter Maddie Mitchell, and his companion Linda Miner, his estranged wife Margaret Mitchell, his sister Patricia Goodspeed, his brothers Don Mitchell (Nellie) of Olmstedville, and John Mitchell (Pamela) of Chestertown, and many nieces, nephews, and lots of friends, including Jesse Miner.
He served in the Marine Corp and the Army National Guard. He was a truck driver, worked on construction jobs, was employed at Barton Mines and was a security guard for Securitas.
He loved the outdoors, BBQ’s, dogs and was a huge Yankee fan trying to never miss a game. He was a gentle giant.
Allan was cremated and his cremains will be interred in the spring.
