Schroon Lake, Christina F. Jacob, 86, passed away in her Schroon Lake home on December 7th
After a lengthy illness. She was born in Hooksett, NH on December 1, 1934 to Arthur and Josephine (Fields) Hayes.
Chris was a beloved and talented teacher who served in the Nashua, NH school district for many years. She enjoyed reading, tennis, drawing and painting. After retiring, she volunteered for both CMC and the American Red Cross. She received many awards both as a teacher and a volunteer.
Chris is remembered as a loving grandmother, mother, and wife who was always ready to help. She was thought of as a leprechaun for her fun-loving and playful ways.
She leaves behind a daughter, Virginia Kern; a grand-daughter, Caellie; two sisters, Ginger Rasch and Julia Hayes and one brother, Jack Hayes as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, ten siblings and her parents.
