Eleanor Reeves Obituary
Schroon Lake - Eleanor Reeves passed away, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York to John and Julia Tokar on May 12, 1929.
Eleanor married George Reeves on May 7, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York.
George and Eleanor moved to Schroon Lake from Douglaston, New York in 1974 and were owners of Davis Motel and Housekeeping Cottages.
Eleanor was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Schroon Lake. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting in her spare time.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Julia Tokar, her husband, George, son-in-law Ed Haroff and granddaughter, Sarah Slade.
Survivors include her children, Daughters - Susan Robinson (Brian), Linda Haroff, Barbara Sturgeon (Kelso), Debra Slade (Charles) and son George Reeves, Jr. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 8, 2016 from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home in Schroon Lake, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Schroon Lake, New York at 11 A. M.
