Howard L. Peer Sr. 85, passed Monday, March, 4, 2019, He was born July 5, 1933 in Rutland Vt. the son of the late Howard and Mary LaRock Peer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Thelma Morgan Peer of North Hudson,, sons Howard (Sarah) Peer of Lyndonville, Vt. and Clifford Peer of North Hudson, His daughters , Sally (Wendell) Keithan of Addison VT., Christine (Jason) McCoy of Schroon Lake, Thelma (Kenneth) Foster of North Hudson and Beverly Smith of Willmington, 18 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter Peggy Vanderwalker, one brother and two sisters.
He was a Korean War Army Veteran serving from 1951 till his honorable discharge in 1953.
He was employed for many years at Ashline Fruit Co. in Willsboro, NY as a truck driver.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Thursday March 7, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, 1019 US Rt.9, Schroon Lake, NY.
