Newcomb, NY, James B. Lacy 70 passed away suddenly Saturday September 16, 2017 at his home.
James was born November 26, 1946 in Flint Michigan, the son of the late Calvin and Velna (Gunnels) Lacy.
James was also predeceased by his brother Herbert Lacy.
James was employed at General Motors in Flint Michigan in the Truck and Bus Division as a committeeman; he retired in 1995 after 30 years of service.
James was a dedicated husband and father and member of Local 598 in Flint MI.
James is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Sandra ( Garrand) Lacy of Newcomb, his son John Lacy of Tonawanda, NY, his son Calvin Lacy of Tawas, MI, his sister Roberta (Earl) Henry of Elmira, MI, sister-in-law Lou Lou Lacy of Tawas City MI, His brother-in-law Mike (Shirley) Garrand of Newcomb, his sister-in-law Judith (Andrew) Blanchette of Newcomb and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Newcomb Cemetery on a date to be announced.
