John Cummings Obituary

Weyauwega, WI, John J. Cummings (Bumper), 51, passed away tragically October 24, 2017.
John was born August 14, 1996 in Albany NY the son of the late Perry Rivenburgh and Dawn (Cummings) Rivenburgh.
In addition to his father he was predeceased by his devoted grandmother, Ann Buzzi and his wife, Cori Cummings.
A funeral service with full Military Honors was held in New London, WI Nov. 4, 2017.
John was a graduate of Minerva Central School and was a U.S Marine Corp Veteran serving in Operation Desert Storm with his best friend, Chad Hample.
John worked as an electrician for the Waupaca Foundry for the past 21 years and was united in marriage to Cori Friday in August of 2011.
When not working, John enjoyed spending time with his family and his hunting trips to New York with best friends Jon Fish and John Gatchell.
John was a loving and generous son, nephew, brother, uncle and friend. He especially loved being a dad and grandfather.
John is survived by his children, Jamie, John (Rhonda, their mother) and Joseph; stepsons, Casey and David; Grandson Christopher John, mother Dawn (Cummings) Rivenburgh; nephew, Anthony; nieces, Angela and Giannia; a brother Randy (Judy) Cummings; a sister Lisa (Joe) Thomas; godson, Cole and uncle Larry Cummings, the most important role model and father figure of his life.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday November 25, 2017 at the Minerva Baptist Cemetery by Pastor Chad at 11:00 AM. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Minerva Town Hall.
