John P Fifield

Newcomb; John P Fifield: On July 24, 2023, our beloved father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend, John P. Fifield received his wings and went to be with his father and relatives.

John was born Dec. 12, 1971, at Mercy General Hospital in Tupper Lake, NY, to Violet (Schraver) Fifield and the late Norman F. Fifield, a big 10 lbs.

He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Emily and Katlin Fifield of Newcomb, his mom and brother Norman J. Fifield of Newcomb, and his sisters, Marie (Kevin) Gonyea and Donna (T.J.) De Stefano of Argyle, NY, a very special brother Raymond (Etta) McCasland of Queensbury, his former wife Jennifer of Newcomb, his very best friend, his dog Raven, his aunt Barbara Schraver of Newcomb, and his uncle Vernon (Nancy) Fifield of Granville, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is predeceased by his grandparents, Stanley and Rena (Hulett) Fifield and Henry and Alice (Huestis) Schraver.

John attended Newcomb Central School and BOCES. In his younger years, he worked for New York State alongside his best friend Eugene Bush Sr. In 2002 he went on his own forming Fifield Construction and built many beautiful houses and other buildings.

John Liked to hunt, Fish, snowmobile and ride the ATV and UTV. He especially loved spending time with his cousins that were his best buddies, Raymond Jr., Stacey, Tracey, Steven Schraver, and Chuck Canon Jr.

Instead of funeral services, John wished to have a big party with a Bonfire.
