Nanette Christana Testa

Schroon Lake: Nanette Christana Testa, born November 24, 1944, died peacefully in her sleep at home in Schroon Lake, Ny on June 27, 2023, at the age of 78.

Nanette is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph; two children, daughter Elisabeth, Son Joseph, and wife Yadira: and five loving grandchildren: Emilio, Joseph, Landon, Valentina, and Lorenzo, who already miss her deeply.

Nan was an influential educator in the Lakeland School District for over 30 years and retired with her beloved husband to the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. She enjoyed spending time knitting, reading, and doing genealogy research for both family and friends.

Nanette’s loving and generous heart touched everyone she knew. Our memories of her are warm, happy, and cherished, and we will forever miss her unconditional love, steadfast loyalty, fierce support, open arms and ears, glowing beautiful spirit, giving nature, and calming presence.

Nan was and remains, a keystone of our family, irreplaceable, and she is greatly missed by those who loved and knew her.

The family suggests memorials in Nan’s honor, take the form of donations to the Make a Wish Foundation or to Let’s Adopt International.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at a future date still to be determined.
