Olmstedville, NY: In memory of Richard A.Trapper, a devoted husband and loyal friend, who passed away September 24th, 2021 at his ADK home in Olmstedville that he loved.
Richard was a decorated Marine who proudly served his country. He served 2 tours in Vietnam from 1965 to 1971. He never forgot the MIAs who never returned. They were a daily symbol hanging below our American flag and on the back window of his truck. He was the epitome of what it means to be an American and exemplified the Marine motto: “Semper Fi” and lived his life accordingly.
Richard was an engineer for General Electric who traveled the world until his retirement.
He is survived by his beloved wife Terese.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
In honor of his and all military services, “We will never forget”.
