Red was also predeceased by four brothers, James, Fred, William and Lucian Winslow and four sisters, Lucille St. John, Eleanor McPherson, Joan Winslow and Harriet Reynolds.

After the war he went to work for Bell Telephone Co. and still helped his family and friends.

Red loved fishing and hunting and especially his friends at Eagles in South Glens Falls.

Survivors include his sister Pearl Fragassi of Glens Falls, his brother Alvin (Connie) Winslow of Fl., his sister-in-law Zadie Winslow of South Glens Falls and many nieces and nephews.

Per Red’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. There will be an interment service in the spring.

The family wishes to thank High Peaks Hospice, Tammy Walsh and her mother and the many friends in Newcomb for being there and taking wonderful care of Red when it was needed.

To Tammy Walsh, again thank you for making Red’s last days everything he wanted.

The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to High Peaks, Hospice, PO Box 192,  Port Henry, NY 12974.
