Rudy M Valley

Schroon Lake, Emile “Rudy” M. Valley, 89 passed away December 2, 2020, after an extended illness with his loving wife by his side.

Rudy was born February 13, 1931, in Barton, Vermont. The son of the late Ernest and Louise (Paquette) Valley.

Rudy was a Veteran of the Korean War having served from 1950 to 1954 in the US Air Force, he was honorably discharged as a SSgt(T).

Rudy spent most of his life as a Master and Journeyman carpenter working for R & D DEVELOPERS and building Mall Stores. Later with his wife, Joan were owners of Valley House Senior Living in Schroon Lake.

Survivors include his wife Joan C. (Davey) Valley, his daughter Sue Dole of  Maine, son Steven Valley of Tennessee, his grandchildren, Carl, Leai, and Leslie, his great-grandchildren, Mathew, Emalie, Casie, and David, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday afternoon December 12, 2020, at 1:30 PM at the Edward L, Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt. 9, Schroon Lake, NY. Father Christopher Looby will officiate. Interment will take place in the spring. All Covid 19 protections must be followed.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 on Saturday, December 12, 2020
