Susan McCann

Schroon Lake: Susan McCann 59, passed away Sunday August 29, 2021, at the Glens Falls Hospital after a 28-year, battle with “MS”.

Susan was born March 28, 1962, in Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of Catherine (Decker) Grubel, and the late William Grubel.

She attended Lakeland High School in Yorktown Heights, NY.

Susan is survived by her mother Cathryn (decker) Grubel of Fl., Her husband Paul McCann Sr., of Schroon Lake, her children Paul McCann Jr. (Tabatha) and Kerri McCann of Schroon Lake, her grandson William Richard McCann of Schroon Lake, her sister Louisa (Ramon) Mahopac, her brother William (Maureen) of Cornwall, NY, several aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved aide Julie Clark of Hague.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 25, 2021, at the Schroon Lake Fire Department at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 421 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
