Tina (Anita) L. (DeFey) O'Grady

Schroon Lake: In loving memory of Tina (Anita) L. ( DeFey) O’Grady, who passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, after a brief illness. Tina was born in Troy, NY, on January 28, 1963, to Elzor and Elizabeth DeFey. She is survived by her husband, Steven O’Grady, sons Donald and Kyle (Veronica) Gendron, and two adored grandchildren, Thea and Beau Gendron. She is also survived by three sisters, Karen Riley, Kathy Ames, Debra Charette, several nieces and nephews, and long-time friend Keisha Piper.

Tina obtained her nursing degree and was integral to caring for community members in Schroon Lake.

She loved many things, including traveling, going to casinos and cruises, and visiting Las Vegas and Cape Cod. She also loved to shop, her favorite Chinese buffet for clams and shrimp, and her cup of tea.
