Wilma Strohmeyer Obituary

Queensbury/Olmstedville; Wilma Mae Strohmeyer passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Wilma was born July 31, 1925 in Johnsburg, NY she was the daughter of the late Irving and Mary Frances (Ingraham) Richards.
Wilma married Clifford Strohmeyer on November 16, 1953.
Wilma was predeceased by her husband Clifford January 24, 2004, her brothers, Jack, Thomas and Alan Richards; her sisters Margaret Richards and Jean Bateman as well as several Brother and Sisters in Law.
Wilma was a graduate of North Creek High School and Albany Business College. She was employed at National Lead in Tahawus, Minerva Central School and several local Law Offices in the area.
Wilma was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Olmstedville. She enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, her flower gardens in Olmstedville and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Clifford (Vickie) Strohmeyer of Queensbury, Patrick (Patsy) Strohmeyer of Minerva, Margaret (Rob) Licho of Newton, MA, Christopher Strohmeyer of Truckee, CA, her grandchildren Eric and William Licho. Also by her brothers James (Patricia) Richards of Kingston, Ronald (Virginia) Richards of California, Sisters-in-Law, Parma Richards, Mary Ann Richards and Marge Strohmeyer as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday January 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Olmstedville, NY, Interment will take place in the spring in St. Mary's Cemetery Irishtown.
Friends may call at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt. 9 Schroon Lake Thursday January 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
The family would like to thank Patty Fitzgerald for all the assistance she provided to Wilma the past several years.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Wilma can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Olmstedville, NY, 12857. The Minerva Fire Dept./Rescue Squad Minerva, NY 12851, or the charity of ones choice.
